J & F Building Systems of Chesterland, Ohio, has recently completed the construction of a service garage expansion and the remodeling of another area on the cemetery grounds.

From start to finish, the work was done — on time — and professionally.  The company president, Andrew F. Fende, followed through on all of the details beginning with the obtaining of variances, to procuring the necessary permit(s).

He kept us apprised of what work would be done on each day, and at the end of each day his schedule had been completely adhered to.  A time frame for both projects was given to us, and the contractor was true to his word.

We especially appreciated his suggestions whereby we might reduce some costs, and where he felt that certain changes might be advantageous to us, any additional costs were reasonable and well within our allocated budget.

BUD FENDE’S MILLERSBURG HOLMES

When Dr. Fowler and I wanted to build a professional building in Mentor, Ohio eleven years ago, the first decision was ‘who would be our general contractor and builder’.

Bud Fende with Millersburg Holmes made this an easy choice.  Preliminary discussions about our desires and expectations were made more possible because of Bud’s relaxed and accommodating personality.

We wanted a building that had the exterior appearance of a Western Reserve style home.  This was not difficult for Millersburg Holmes since much of their previous construction experience was with homes.

Both of us, Dr. Fowler and me, were elated with the final  blue prints; and, as the building took shape, we were excited by how perfectly it fit in with the residential neighborhood.

Our patients actually look forward to the atmosphere the building creates.  It makes it much easier to approach treatment in this “homey” environment,  rather than that of a sterile, bricks and mortar, office building.

Bud still checks on us periodically to see how the building is holding up to the erratic Northeast Ohio weather.  It has been excellent.

We were very pleased with our overall experience with Bud; and he worked equally hard to keep the expenses under control and within our budget.  Even better, we moved in on schedule.

Both Dr. Fowler and I recommend Bud Fende and Millersburg Holmes whole-heartedly.  If you are considering building a new home or attractive office building, you won’t be disappointed.  We would do it again without hesitation.
